This connector is the main power in and communications connector for most EKPM2s and EKPM3s. Each connector comes with 2 large terminals and 14 small terminals.
The maximum wire gauge that the large terminals can accept is 12 AWG. Do not attempt to use a 10 AWG wire with the terminals as it will not create a proper crimp. Do not solder wires to the terminals.
Our recommendation is to use 12 AWG Tefzel, TXL or GXL wire when replacing the factory power and ground wires.

- The connector also fits any EKPM2 or EKPM3 that has the purple / maroon connector.
The terminals must be properly crimped without bending to ensure a proper connection. Bending the terminals during crimping or installation will result in premature failure. Professional installation is highly recommended!
