Easily upgrade your BMW's main ground cable with our direct replacement ground cables! As your vehicle ages and is exposed to the elements, the factory unshielded ground cables become corroded and often lead to electrical issues, such as the . Our upgraded ground cables are made from 2 AWG sealed copper welding cable with tin-plated copper lugs and sealed with high temperature and high-wear resistant heat shrink to keep water out of the cable. Our cables are designed to withstand all types of weather and environments while resisting corrosion for years to come.

Note: The E36 and E46 Ground cables come in a length of either 270mm or 380mm. The 270mm cables are direct replacements for part # 12421724740. The 380mm cables are direct replacements for part # 12421737755. Although they are different lengths and part #'s, they should be interchangeable for most E36 and E46 models. However, we recommend that you verify which cable length is suitable for your needs prior to purchasing.

I just recently purchased and installed the Arc Terminator ground wire for my 2015 BMW 535i xDrive and it was a major upgrade to the original one from the factory. I highly recommend to replace this as it's a known problem of breaking from corrosion. Mine was corroded and starting to break apart slowly. The Arc Terminator is fully insulated and will last longer than the car will. It was a perfect fit and the quality is beyond amazing!!!

My F10 is a 2014 550i and the ground cable on my car has two right angle terminals on each end. Not a straight end like your cable. Not worth the hassle of a return or refund. I’ll try to sell it locally..
This is a well made grounding strap. it's a fully insulated 2 gauge strap with corrosion resistant terminals. It was also fairly easy to install (just one bolt and a nut in my case). I also sprayed on some black rubber flex seal on the terminal ends just to make sure no corrosion occurs.
As an installation note: be sure to create a temporary ground from your engine to the frame before removing the old strap, or disconnect the battery !
